NiS+TS has been working with students from Dalhousie University’s School of Architecture this summer. Under the direction of NiS+TS member and Dalhousie Architecture faculty member Brian Lilley, students in a design studio class worked on projects related to the revitalization of Fort Needham Memorial Park earlier this summer. A second group in a design-build Freelab course is currently working on the planning and construction of a “psychogeographer’s table” for the display of topographic information and artifacts from the Halifax Explosion debris field. We have been doing a lot of walking with these students. This location on the Halifax waterfront provided a view across the Narrows.
