Research Walk: Across the Narrows (May 2015)

Across the Narrows was a research creation walk in May 2015, exploring the area of the Dartmouth waterfront most directly affected by the Halifax Explosion of 1917. The route began at the foot of Nivens Street and ended at Shannon Park. Dartmouth’s population was much smaller than Halifax’s in 1917 (as it is now), but suffered proportionally the same devastation.
