Diego Maenza, Master of Planning student at Dalhousie University, has completed an Independent Research Project on the retaining walls that are situated below Barrington Street at Cornwallis Street, north to Duffus Street. This interpretive account is of interest in relation to the effects of the Explosion of 1917, and adds to the knowledge of the morphology of Richmond and the harbour.
